
Born Aug. 7, 1943 in Queens she was the daughter of George Kotsay and Helen Denning. She grew up in Queens and was a graduate of St. Agnes Catholic School Mary was widowed by her first husband, Oban Carl Stephens and on May 4, 1985 she married Richard Schill who survives. Mary spent most of her life in College Point and was employed by the Canada Dry Co. In 1992 she and her husband moved to South New Berlin where they continued to make their home.
Mary is survived by her husband Richard Schill of South New Berlin, her children Anne Marie Beekman and husband John of Middletown, Nancy Torres and husband Anthony of College Point, Richard Schill of Orlando, FL and Kenneth Schill and wife Francine of Apalachin, her sister Helen Kamerer and husband John of Ocean City, MD, her brothers Michael Kotsay and wife Elena of FL and Joseph Kotsay and wife Cathy of College Point. Also surviving are her grandchildren Jason, Alyssa, Matthew, Laura and Kenneth, along with several nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her brother George.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, at 10 am from St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Ralph A. Bove, Pastor will officiate.
Friends may call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm.
