Patrick C. Cummings

Buck was born on June 12, 1951 in Norwich, the son of Donald and Genevieve LaRock Cummigs. He grew up in Norwich where he attended the Norwich schools and was a member of the Norwich High School band. Over the years he had made his home in Norwich as well as Virginia. He worked as a lineman for a telecommunications company, owned and operated Doug’s Sub’s in Sidney and operated Buck’s Bait and Tackle shop in the Earlville and Hamilton area.

In his liesure time Buck enjoyed fishing, playing pool, playing the drums and trying his luck at Lotto.

Buck is survivied by his children Amie Cunningham and Jennifer Coombs both of MA, Kristopher LaRock Cummings of VA, Heather Cummings of TX, Patrick LaRock Cummings and James LaRock Cummings both of W VA, his sisters Merrie Beadle and husband Gary, Kimberly Cavanaugh both of Norwich and his brother Donald “Mike” Cummings of MN. Also survivng are his grandchildren Tyler, Jeremy, Baylei, Maddox, Kristopher K, his step-grandchildren Cameron and Tyler along with several nieces and nephews.

Buck was predeceased by his parents Donald and Genevieve Cummings.

A celebration of Buck’s life will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 12:00 Noon from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
