
Paul was born in Flushing, NY the son of Richard and Evelyn (Harrison) Kent. He grew up in the Flushing area where he attended the local schools and also earned his Associates Degree. Paul served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force retiring as a Master Sgt. He also was employed by the Raymond Corp. for 8 years working as an Electronic Technician. He has made his home in McDonough since 1988.
Paul was an accomplished photographer and had also taught photography. One of the highlights of his photography career was during the Nixon administration he served as the Whitehouse photographer and traveled with President Nixon on many of his trips.
On April 26, 1971 he married Madelon Blake who survives. Besides his wife Madelon of McDonough, Paul is survived by his sons Chris (Stacie) Kent of Smyrna and Brian Kent of McDonough. Also surviving are his brothers James P. Kent of McDonough, Roger Kent of Norwich and Douglas Kent of Vestal. Three grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also survive.
There will be no formal services at this time.
