Richard E. Church Jr.

Richard was born on Aug. 5, 1954 in Norwich the son of Richard and Bessie Armstrong Church and attended the Sherburne-Earlville schools. He had made his home in the Buffalo area for over 20 years where he was employed by Niagara Cutter of Buffalo as a machinist. In 2001 he decided to move back to Chenango County making his home in New Berlin.

Richard is survived by his daughter Rebecca Church of Tonowanda and her mother Laurie Church of North Tonowanda, his sister Barb Harrison and husband Al of Oxford, his brother Ronald Church and Nancy Bagnall of New Berlin, his grandchildren Devin Vogel, Robert and Ethan Osuchowski along with several nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services for Richard will be held on Monday, Oct. 8, at 11:00 am from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Brian Conover, Pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Norwich will officiate. Interment will be in the Sherburne West Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am.
