Thomas J O'Hora

Tom was born in Auburn on Feb.21, 1936 the son of Thomas L. and Helen (Speen) O’Hora. He spent the early years of his life in the Auburn area and served his country in the United States Army from 1959 until his honorable discharge in 1961. While making his home in Auburn he was employed by NCR (National Cash Register Co. ) for a period of 12 years in their sales and repair dept.

Tom moved to the Norwich area about 20 years ago where he built his own home. Talented in many ways he also built his own “tour bus” and traveled around the country with his life partner Lois and her grandson Brandon.

Above all else, Tom was devoted to his family and pets.

Tom is survived by his children Liane Amaral and husband Steve of Lyons Falls, NY, Daniel O’Hora and wife Samantha of Seneca Falls and Fritz O’Hora and wife Tera of Pepperell, Mass. and his brother Bruce O’Hora of Hilton Head, NC. Also surviving are his grandchildren Brandon Parker, Megan, Evan, Kayleigh and Heidi O’Hora.

Graveside services for Tom will be held on Friday, May 30, at 12:00 Noon from the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
