Albert E. Fiske

FISKE, Albert E. 80, of Norwood Thursday June 1. Son of the late William Fiske Jr. and Olive (Sandersen). Brother of Edward Fiske of CA, Lois Miller of ME, and the late William Fiske and Carolyn Baldwin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Albert was a U.S. ARMY Veteran and served for 26 years, and a member of the American Legion and the Norwood Elks, and was the proprietor of Norwood Tire. He was a Norwood Town Meeting Member for many years representing District 2, and was the director of the Norwood Emergency Management / Norwood Civil Defense, and was involved with the Norwood Auxiliary Police. Albert was instrumental in bringing cable television service to Norwood. He was an original member of the Norwood Cable TV Commission, and was President of Norwood Community Television Corporation. He also served on many other boards and commissions in town. A private graveside service was held at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
