Bernard J. Coffey

Born in Boston, MA on July 25, 1934, he was a graduate of Boston Technical College, and a proud member of the Teamsters, local #25. In 1997, Mr. Coffey retired to Palm Coast, FL, where he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and boating.

He was the son of the late Bernard P. Coffey, and Benedetto and Evelyn (Simms) Lomuscio; beloved husband of Marilyn (Moore) Coffey; loving father of Janice Coady and her husband Kevin of Medway, MA, Bernard J. Jr. and his wife Margaret of Easton, MA, Stephen Coffey of CA, and Shauna Parkinson and her husband Rick of Norwood, MA; proud grandfather of Kristyn, Kevin Jr. and Suzanne Coady, Lauren, Lana, and Emmy Coffey, and Nicholas and Ally Parkinson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6 at 9:00am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood, then at 10:00am in St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols Street, Norwood, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday from 2:00-6:00pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
