I am so sorry to hear the saddest news today about Chris. Chris was Norwood Hospital GE service engineer. Chris was the nicest, politest young man who had so much kindness and respect for everyone. We always enjoyed Seeing Chris when our machines needed repair. Chris will surely be missed and my heart goes out to the families. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Chris’s passing.  He was our service engineer for Foxboro CT before going back to x-ray.   I totally enjoyed when he came to maintain/ fix the scanner.  He was such a nice person to chat with.  Knew he was getting a pup was so excited.  We compared notes on our dogs.  I got a pup about the same time.  
He was an outstanding man and my heart breaks for his family.

Dear Laidler family, on behalf of Chris’ many friends from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, I want to express our deep sadness at Chris’ sudden passing.  His connection with his classmates and residential life colleagues has been remembered on Facebook with great fondness and appreciation for his warmth and ability to make everyone around him smile.  We were so privileged to share a portion of his life with him.

Chris was my brother-in-law. Every time I had the opportunity of spending time with him it was filled with humor, kindness, and honesty. My heart breaks for Nicole and his family. I know I only met you all briefly, but if there is anything you need in this trying time please don’t hesitate to reach out. I send my deepest condolences.

    I worked with Chris at GE Healthcare on and off for the last five years.  Chris was our backup resource in the Computerized Tomography (CT) modality where he received training while in the Air Force.  I was always impressed at how well this young man carried himself in the workplace.  He was respected by his co-workers,  a pleasure to work with and loved by his customers. 
    My deepest condolences to the Laidler family.  He will be missed by all of us

I taught Chris in Tech School when he became a Biomedical Maintenance Technician, and later deployed with him to Bagram Airfield in the Fall of 2014, he was always funny, consistent, and unwavering, he was always my voice of reason no matter how ridiculous I was at time and he was genuine and just a joy to interact with, I wasn't done sharing laughs and stupid  memes,  or the back and forth Bama and Yankee digs at each other, you were a great friend Chris And You will truly be missed.

I deployed with Chris in Afghanistan in 2014. He was such a goofy and quiet guy and he brought so much peace to our shop. I worked as medical supply with the BMETS so we weren’t in the same shop but worked closely together. Feel free to reach out if you need anything from me, I know I never met any of his family but I can see if I have more pictures of our group to share to you all. Praying for y’all ❤️

          Chris and his brother, Andrew, played with my girls when they were all small children.  He was as quiet, serious child, very smart and handsome.  He became a life guard in high school and worked summers at a resort in Maine.  He taught swim lessons at the local YMCA, to children.  He was a gentle, quiet guy. 
           During my visits to the vacation home when he was there, he would rise early and watch the AM news with me.  He cared about people. He loved his family.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him.  
               We send love and hugs to his mom and dad, to brother Andrew and to his wife, Nicole.  May his gentle spirit rest in peace. 

To Nicole and the Laidler family,
I was so sorry to hear about Chris, although I realize the word sorry does not even to begin to cover what you all must be feeling right now.

I only knew Chris for a relatively short time, as I worked with him on an almost daily basis for the last five years at GE.
But to say Chris was merely a co-worker would be a gross injustice.
He was a friend, a confidant, a co-conspirator, and brother in arms for the last five years that we spent together.

He truly was one of the brightest, kindest, and good-hearted people that it has been my pleasure, honor, and privilege to know.

Rest in peace my friend.
You will be truly missed, brother.

I deployed with Chris to Afghanistan. We worked together in the maintenance shop and he was my gym partner. He kept me sane during that stressful time.  He was a great person, and I will miss him.
