Edward F. McDonough

McDonough, Edward F., 78, of Norwood, Tuesday, July 24, at home, surrounded by his family. Edward served in the Marine Corps in Cuba and was the retired Operations Manager of the Mall of Chestnut Hill for many years.

He was the devoted husband of Sheila (Barry), beloved father of Deborah and Mark McDonough, Kathleen and her husband Stephen Schick, all of Norwood, Michael McDonough of Canton, Kevin McDonough, and Ann Kelly, both of Norwood and the late Sean McDonough, father-in-law of the late Shawn Kelly, cherished grandfather of Courtney, Kaitlyn, Colleen, Haley, Nicholas, and Matthew, dear brother of Marie Burback of FL, Martin McDonough and his wife Jean of Norwood, brother-in-law of Carol Casano of Brockton, Thomas Barry and his wife Ann of S.Weymouth, and Paul Neimann of Dorchester, and the late Martin Burback, Kathleen Neimann, and Ralph Casano, and uncle of several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at the the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, Sunday, July 29, from 4-8 PM. The funeral will begin at the Gillooly Funeral Home on Monday, July 30, at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
