Frank J. Clark

Frank J. Clark, 48, of Bellingham, formerly of Norwood, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends after a 3 year battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Born in Norwood, Frank was the son of Frank H. Clark of Norwood and the late Elizabeth “Betty” (Iennelo) Clark. He was the adoring husband of Leigh (Tanis) Clark; the loving and proud father of Haley Elizabeth and Jake Harrison Clark, all of Bellingham; the brother of Kelly Dutcher; the cherished uncle of Shaw and Shea Dutcher, all of Norwood; and the loved and beloved, nephew, cousin, in-law, and good friend to many in his extended family. Frank graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1984 and Johnson & Wales University with the class of 1995, where he followed his passion for cooking by earning a Bachelor of Occupational Science/Culinary Arts. Frank was an avid culinarian, who also studied in Paris at Le Ferrandi, The French School of Culinary Arts. He worked for Sodexo for over 20 years, first as an executive chef, and then as a regional purchasing manager. He was a strong supporter of the arts, an advocate for human rights, and a devoted Boston sports fan of the Red Sox, Bruins, and NE Patriots. He was a music and movie aficionado, a voracious reader and enjoyed traveling and the beach. Most of all, he loved his family, and loved spending time with them. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, at 10:00 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., NORWOOD, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood. Interment will be private. In celebration of Frank's style please wear your favorite Tommy Bahama shirt or sundress to visiting hours, which will be held on Friday, June 26th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
