Robert Mark Ferris

Robert Mark Ferris, 70, of Norwood passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 25, 2022. Born July 11, 1951 in Boston to Stephen and Constance (Reed) Ferris. He was the beloved husband to the late Jeanne (Seery) Ferris.

Robert was passionate about his family, the Red Sox, gardening, vacationing with his family and his beloved dog Ollie. Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines Corp.

Robert is survived by his loving children, Heather Jandrue and her husband Bill of Norwood, Jennifer Polischuk and her husband Frank of Wakefield and Kristen Ferris and her fiancé John McCorkle of Walpole; his cherished grandchildren, Robert and Nicholas Jandrue, Joshua Polischuk; John Joseph IV and Colin Robert McCorkle, devoted brother of Joan E Ferris of Foxboro, brother in law Joseph Seery, Jr and his wife Mary Lou of Norwood, sister in law Anne Flagg of Gill and brother in law David Seery of Norwood. He is also survived by his niece, Kym May of Aurora, IL, his Goddaughter Donna Seery of Easton as well as many other loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Sandra and brothers David, Chester, Jeffrey and Stephen Paul.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Norwood at 11:00am with interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
