Marie was our dear friend and we will miss her very much,
We appreciate all of the wonderful times that Connie Burns 
took us to celebrate our friendship.. Katie Donahue, my mother, Esther Helmke, and Marie formed the REDBIRD CLUB along with the friendship of Connie. Ms. Burns, was often the driver, the chef, and event planner for our little trips to watch the birds, flora & fauna. Our group got used to these travel events, seeing each other, and looked forward to the surprises that were experienced on these little jaunts. Marie added her own special observations, kindnesses, and sweetness to this SPECIAL group as they all approached their nineties and beyond...with an expectation of continuing  a long friendship.
 We were blessed to know her, and we will hold you in our thoughts & prayers as you  celebrate her long life.

Sorry for your loss,  I only knew Rose as a friend I met while visiting my husband, a  resident of Sunrise also. I enjoyed our many conversations.  My husband passed the same day as Rose.  She loved to sing and I sang along with her.  God Bless.....
