

Terrence J. Connolly of Walpole and formerly of Norwood, passed away at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on Sunday, March 8, 2026 following a long illness, he was 63.
Born in Newton, he was the son of the late Mary L. (Quinton) and Francis M. Connolly. Terrence was a 1981 graduate of Norwood High School. After serving a term in the United States Coast Guard, Terrence served with the Norwood police Department for over 30 years until his retirement several years ago. He was a long-time member of Wampatuck Country Club.
Terrence was the beloved husband of Lori (Coffey) Connolly, and the devoted father and biggest fan of Christopher and Kaitlyn Connolly, all of Walpole. He was the loving brother of Michael Connolly of Norwood, Paula and her husband John Glossa of Walpole, and Brenda and her husband Steven Usina of Fort Mill, SC. Terrence was the son in-law of Carole C. Coffey of Norwood, and the late Kenneth F. Coffey, the brother in-law of John J. Coffey and his wife Carrie of Walpole, and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Thursday March 12, from 4-8 PM. Services from the Funeral Home on Friday March 13, at 10 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
