It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terrion L. Lewis-Francis, age 52 of Norwood, who passed away at her home on Friday, January 17, 2025.
Born in Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies, Terrion was the beloved daughter of Manley and Olive (Salmon) Lewis. She was a cherished sister to her three sisters and four brothers, whose lives she touched with her warmth, wisdom, and kindness.
Terrion was the devoted wife of Glenn Francis, and the devoted mother of Noirret and Shelby Francis, all of Norwood. A loving and selfless mother, she dedicated much of her life to raising her daughters, prioritizing family above all else. She left the workforce to be present for them-walking them to and from school, and creating lasting memories with trips to Disney World, Hershey park, Pennsylvania, Jamaica, and elsewhere. Last May, she attended Noirret's graduation in a wheelchair on a chilly day and was proud of her daughter's accomplishment. She leaves her best wishes with her other daughter, Shelby, who attends college now.
Terrion worked for many years as a Supervisor at the CVS drugstore in Norwood, where she was known for her strong work ethic and ability to brighten the day of those around her. Outside of work, she had many pleasures-yard sales, antiques, arts and crafts, and evenings filled with long phone calls. She had a keen eye for hidden treasures and was captivated by the history behind old paintings and collectibles, always watching shows that discussed the histories of rare antique finds.
Lastly, Terrion as a child, grew up in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. After immigrating to America she became a member of the Norwood Seventh-day Adventist Church and attended on Saturdays. She gave out hugs to her church members, Muslim friends, and others from different faiths. From the time that she was stricken to a hospital bed, whether in our out of hospitals, Christian television channels ran throughout the night for most of one year. Just because she could not attend church, it did not mean church did not come to her. Biblical sermons and prayers nourished her soul. Praise God.
A Funeral Service was held in the Hyde Park Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 6 Webster Street, HYDE PARK on Friday January 31. Interment was at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
