On January 30, 2026, Bertha “Bette” L. Lindemann (nee Scherer) passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of the late George E. Lindemann; devoted mother of Russell Lindemann, his wife Linda, and Michael Lindemann, his wife Karen; loving grandmother of Lisa Huber, her husband John, Craig Lindemann, Kevin Lindemann, Dan Lindemann, and Sean Lindemann, and his husband Jason Keller; cherished great grandmother of Max, Dean, Blake, and Allie; dear sister of the late John Scherer, and William Scherer.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral celebration will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
