Calvin J Eastwood

Calvin Joseph Eastwood, of Annapolis and formally of Laurel and Baltimore, MD, died on August 12, 2011. Born Sept 10, 1915, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Clara and Joseph Eastwood. He graduated from B.P.I. High School, class of 1934. He was graduate of the University of Baltimore, 1957 where he received his degree in Industrial Management. He worked for Lockheed Martin until 1968 and then for the United States Postal Service until his retirement in 1980. He was a past Master in the Masonic Lodge; Sincerity #181. He was also a member of the Tall Cedars Baltimore Forest # 45.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Trent) Eastwood, whom he married in 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife of 63 years, Helen Bender Eastwood and one brother Edison Eastwood of Baltimore, MD. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Craig Eastwood and his wife Nancy of Shady Side, MD and a daughter, Janet Frank and her husband Barry of Girtletree, MD. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Miller-Dippel Funeral Home Inc. 6415 Belair Road Baltimore, MD 21206 on Monday from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 am at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment Lorraine Park Cemetery.
