

On September 5, 2025, Catherine "Kitty" LePore (nee Graziano) passed away into the loving arms of our Lord. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 17, 1933, to Samuel and Evelyn Graziano (nee Griffin). She attended Western Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore. Following graduation, Kitty began a career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. After staying home for a number of years to raise her children, she completed her career working in the Administrative Offices of the Baltimore City School System and the U.S. Veterans Administration.
Catherine was preceded in death by her former husband, the late Angelo LePore. She was the caring and devoted mother of Chris Ciemny and his wife Judy, Nick LePore, Mario LePore and his wife Alison, former daughter-in-law Susan Becker (nee Ciemny) and her son the late Jeff Ciemny. Her memory is cherished by her six beloved grandchildren Nicole, Lauren, Jonathan, Michael, Luc, and Vincent, as well as ten great-grandchildren. She was the devoted sister of Jeanne Lewis and her husband Butch, and the late Michael Graziano; dear sister-in-law of Margaret LePore; and adored aunt of Michele Sears, Lisa Crowell, Butch Lewis, Jr., and their families. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Joseph Orlowski.
Kitty will be treasured as a faithful woman who was always there when needed most, offering support, wisdom, and an abundance of love. She will be remembered for her extensive travels to all fifty states and numerous cruises, as an exceptional baker, and her love for all things Elvis. Full of life, laughter, and great resilience, Kitty touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a lifelong legacy of kindness and an unwavering faith in God.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (Overlea). Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
