Charles Joseph Etzel Jr.

On November 6, 2020, Charles J. Etzel, Jr. passed away. He was the beloved husband of Frances J. Etzel (nee Celmer); devoted father of Charles Etzel, III, William Etzel and his wife Kathy, Joanne O’Neil, Frederick Etzel and his wife Michelle, and Theresa Schultz and her husband Tony, IV; loving grandfather of Rebecca Etzel, Jimmy Moore, Tony Schultz, V, Jacklyn Etzel, Lacey Etzel, Kelly Schultz, and Charles Etzel; cherished great-grandfather of Adrianna and Alisha Moore; dear brother of Jane Lazarek, Mary Alice Bauer, and the late John “Jack” Etzel and the late Kay Davis. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, at 10 AM, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (Hydes, MD). Interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
