

Colin Alexander Ward, of Baltimore, MD passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the age of 92. Born in Birkenhead, England, he was drafted into the British Army and served in the Korean War. Colin moved to the US in pursuit of engineering opportunities and eventually found his place as a machinist at Bethlehem Steel, where he worked for nearly 30 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Heather (Rahman Chisty) Ward and Melissa (Nathan) Adams, and his grandson, Henry Colin, to whom he was the best "Poppy" ever. Further survived by nephew Richard Hughes Jr., niece Carlee Agnello and by many more loving relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Hope Hughes Ward, and his siblings and parents. Colin was an avid fan of the Ravens and Orioles, enjoyed reading history books and he had a passion for travelling the world with his wife. May he continue his Baileys nightcaps in eternity.
