

David was born in Baltimore City on June 25, 1952, and lived his whole life in Baltimore County.
David graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1970. David was retired from his position as a SHA engineer with the Maryland State Highway Administration, where he worked for over thirty years.
David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Elizabeth Lee, his daughter, Katlyn Lee, his son-in law, Michael Coyle, and his sister, Lauren Lee. David also is survived by four grandchildren: William De Guzman, Jacob De Guzman, Devin Coyle, and Brennan Coyle.
Aside from his family, David’s great love was softball. He played for and coached the Angle Inn softball team for many years, winning several Maryland State Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America titles and reaching the nationals as a coach for Angle Inn in 2008.
He also coached his daughter Katlyn’s softball team with great joy and enthusiasm for a number of years.
The viewing for David will take place on Thursday, February 8th from 10am-12pm at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Road, Nottingham, MD 21236, followed by services at Schimunek Funeral Home.
