On January 14, 2026, David F. Whitson peacefully passed away. He was the beloved husband for over 42 years to Kathryn “Kathy” Whitson (nee Keeney); devoted father of Michael D. Whitson, Jeffrey C. Cook, his wife Valerie; loving grandfather of Grant Cook, Aaron Cook, Samantha Marquez, Lindsay Safir, Sarah Dudley; cherished great grandfather of Adam and Lilly.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Camp Chapel United Methodist Church, 5000 E. Joppa Rd, Perry Hall, MD 21128, on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM funeral will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment at the Camp Chapel church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David’s name to the music fund at the Camp Chapel United Methodist Church.
