Edgar Allen Steigleman, age 90, of White Marsh, MD, passed away on April 4, 2023. Edgar was the beloved husband of the late Amie Copper Steigleman (nee Crew), for 69 years; devoted father of Gloria Jean Chamberlain and her husband Mike, Roger Wayne Steigleman, and Amy Jean Steigleman; loving grandfather of Michael Chamberlain and his wife Kristen, Christopher Chamberlain, and Melissa Podles and her husband Thomas; cherished great-grandfather of William, Zachary and Hannah Chamberlain and Victoria Podles; dear brother of the late Sylvia Butler. Also survived by his brother-in-law Jim Butler, as well as many loving extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 11 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Edgar’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org, or the Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.lovetotherescue.org.
