Edward John Ewers

Edward leaves behind many cherished memories and the countless lives that he touched. He was a very successful businessman, owning several hair salons in the Rosedale and Towson areas. He also was an accomplished sailor, and he could catch fish like no other. He had a 100 Ton Captains license and would run boats from the Chesapeake Bay to Florida and even the Bahamas. Everywhere he went someone knew him as Captain Eddie.

Ed was loved and cherished by many people including his beloved wife Cheryl Ewers, devoted father of Dina Toft (Jesper), Tracie Mazur, and Jason Banas (Krysta); cherished grandfather of Isabel Toft, Natalie Toft, Mia DeAngelis (Dylan), Nathan Banas, Khloe Banas, and Jillian Banas; adored brother of Kathleen Ewers and Evelyn Jenkins (Lou); and the dear dog Dad of Milo Ewers

Edward was pre-deceased by his loving parents, Charles and Eva Ewers; his brother Gordon Ewers and two sisters Doris Marsh and Eleanor Dickson.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens on May 2nd, 2026 at 12:00 PM for a graveside service.
