On November 3, 2024 George F. Hand passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara J. Hand (nee Marler); devoted father of Janice Stangroom and her husband James, Steven Hand and his wife Sarah, and the late George “Bud” Hand; cherished grandfather of Matthew Stangroom and his wife Becky, Michael Stangroom, Emily Nessel and her husband Chuck, Steven Michael Hand and his wife Christina, Robert Hand, Tim Hand, and Andrew Hand; loving great-grandfather of Ethan Stangroom and Charlotte Stangroom; dear brother of the late Robert “Bo” Hand and his wife Mary Ann; loving uncle of Terry Bosse and her husband Marty, and Bonnie Hand.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Ursula Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
