On June 5, 2017 Giuseppa Giammona passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni Giammona; devoted mother of Giuseppe Giammona and his wife Mimi, Maria "Connie" Byrns and her husband Robert, and Rosario "Jerry" Giammona and his wife Sandra; cherished grandmother of Jessica and Steven, Nicholas, Justin, Brett, Tami, and Jason; loving great-grandmother of Siena; dear sister of Anna Fertitta and her husband Giuseppe, Vincenzo DiSalvo and his wife Diana, and pre-deceased by her siblings Maria and Rosario.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
