Joan R. “Babes” Kline (nee Rohe), age 93, of Hydes, MD, passed away on February 2, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Joseph “Jimmy” Kline; devoted mother of William Kline and his wife Margo, Jeffrey Kline and his wife Mary Anne, the late Thomas Kline and his surviving wife Carol, and the late Robert Kline; loving grandmother of Nicole Kline, Margo Lynn Kissinger, Brooks Kline, Kristie Hausner, Rylan Kline, Ashley Bartkowiak, Katelyn Kline and Taylor Kline; cherished great-grandmother of twelve; dear sister of Mary Kline and the late Thomas Rohe, Peggy Fitz, June Ringsborg, Leo Rohe, Kathleen Porter, and Patricia Chisholm. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 2-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 10 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church (Hydes, MD). Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
