John Julius Sachs, Jr., age 81, of Middle River, MD passed away on October 14, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Anita Lorraine Sachs; devoted father of Eddie Victor Finazzo and his significant other Lisa Iwersen, and the late Lisa Ann Sawyer; loving grandfather of Nicholas Samuel Finazzo and his significant other Amanda Barth, and Eddie Kowalski and his wife Becca; cherished great-grandfather of Rorie, Thomas, and Eddie Kowalski; dear brother of Linda Heacock and her husband Noel, and August Reichert,III and his late wife Eleanor; loving uncle of Todd Heacock and his daughter Amanda Heacock, and Kimberly Morehouse and her son Jonah Morehouse.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 3-5 P.M. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John’s name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org
