John David Santoni Sr. passed on May 20, 2026, at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen M. Santoni née Phaffenbach; devoted father of Deborah A. Santoni and her husband Fred Sipes, John D. Santoni, Jr. and his wife Angie, Steven C. Santoni and his fiancée Linna; dear brother of Conrad N. Santoni; loving grandfather of Ryan Santoni, Luke Santoni, and Andy Sipes; also cherished and survived by his 3 great grandchildren.
John was a pharmacist by trade and a musician at heart. He played many instruments and for several decades played with the Middle River Concert Band. Among his cherished items is a framed $5 bill which was the first money he earned playing music in 1952.
A Graveside Service will be held at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1601 Taylor Ave, Parkville, MD 21234, US, on May 28, 2026, at 11:00 am.
