Sweet sweet Sweet girl. I’m going to miss you so. We’ve only known each other a few years but you don’t know i was going through so much when we 1st met. Your beautiful spirit made me not worry. I appreciate you giving me love as if i were someone you’ve known all your life. You’ve been on my mind so heavy all i kept thinking was where is Katie we usually talk i need to go pop up on her. Katie Klein, where do I even begin. Well Katie and I met in elementary school and have been great friends ever since.  Katie and I have so many memories: all the lunch and dinner dates, the parties at the Rosalie house, playing basketball and lacrosse together, skinny dipping in my parents pool (we got caught), and simply just spending time with one another. 

Katie was always constantly smiling and laughing. She was a trickster. She was always pranking someone. Especially her sister, Tish. Katie loved with her entire heart. She was always volunteering her time to those in need. She lived for making others smile. 

To Mrs. Tina and Mr Roy: My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I want to thank you for bringing Katie into this world because she made a HUGE difference in my world. Her constant smile and laugh always made my heart happy. She loved each of you dearly.

To Noel, Tish, and Luke:  I send hugs and prayers to each of you. Katie loved her siblings. The bond each of you had with her is something that will never be replaced.  Remember all the good times,  and always keep your head held high.

To Anthony: I want to say thank you. Thank you for making Katie so happy. Every time I talked to her, she expressed how happy she was with you. You completed her and I cannot thank you enough. I pray for you and your family during this difficult time.

i would frequently see and talk to katie whenever i would be visiting the phillips’ house. from the first time i met her, despite the fact that she had no idea who i was, she treated me like a old friend. immediately i was comfortable with her and i could talk to her about literally anything. she had this way about her that no matter what you said, you would know she was listening and that she genuinely cared. getting to know katie was a pleasure, i hope i can be just half of the caring, sweet, and genuine woman she was. sending love to her and you all 

Every time I went over to the Philips’s household it was always cheerful and happy. Literal warmth everywhere and Katie was a part of that. She treated everyone like she had know them forever. Aysia’s friends were automatically her friends. I felt comfortable around her the first tine I met her. About a month ago, I went over for s’mores and we all just sat outside and talked. Oh and when I was leaving , I hit my head on a glass door cause glass lol and she was the only person that noticed and she laughed so hard. She has this demeanor about her where she makes you feel like everything you say is valid and important. I hope you are happy and laughing with the angels in heaven.Rest In Peace Katie. We all love you.

Katie had such an infectious personality. Whether we were on or off the lacrosse field, she was always a joy to be around and so fun I might add. Her presence would light up an entire room - she was a sweet and genuine soul, and lived by many. My condolences go out to the entire Klein family, all her friends and her boyfriend.. all those affected by this. Sending you all thoughts and prayers.

I literally would go over Aaron’s and Anthony’s house like 3 times a week and we would all hang out and have some laughs and stay up to like 3 or 4 in the morning . I worked with katie at Bass Pro Shops , and her and I use to joke and had so many laughs, she really made my day when I would see her smile. She was a beautiful spirit with a kind heart . I know that she is at peace in the arms of the Lord. She will always be the sunshine when you feel that your days are  cloudy.  REST IN PARADISE KATIE.

Katie was me and my brothers bartender at Lib’s grill every time we had our pre work happy hour. She always had a smile on her face and was so accommodating. May you be at peace-

Katie was always a burst of life and always a joy to be around. Every time we saw each other we would give each other hugs. I will miss her dearly and always love her.

The first time I met Katie was in early 2017. Noel introduced us and immediately I knew this girl was one of the best people I ever met. She was so welcoming and just interested in what I had to say even though we just met. Later, when Libs Grill in Maple Lawn opened she began to work there and thats when we became good friends. Even if I was having a bad day Katie always looked the positive and just made me feel like everything was okay. She always was joking around and making me laugh with all of our inside jokes. Words can't express how much I am going to miss her. I am so thankful that I got to get to know her, share amazing memories, and to be able to call her my friend.

When I first met Katie I instantly thought - “wow, were going to be great friends”.  The vibe that Katie put off was so contagious. Her smile could instantly cheer anyone. She was the most beautiful, genuine person inside and out. We had started hanging out and every single time we laughed until we cried. We baked so many different desserts - my favorite being her oatmeal lace cookies. Sang so many songs , had the most random ideas like riding bikes to Rita’s, or going on random adventures. Throughout high school I would stay at Katie’s house all the time. That’s where I wanted to be- with her. She was like another big sister to me. As life went on I had a daughter who Katie adored. We went to lunch to catch up after not seeing each other for months and it was just like we had missed no time at all. She was just that type of friend- to everyone. Katie got a laugh out of my daughter’s sassy attitude, and the funny things she’d say. I don’t know who thought it was more funny though Katie, or Brylee. Katie was just such an amazing friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone her soul has crossed paths with. 

I send my thoughts and prayers to Katie’s family. May a piece of Katie’s soul live throughout each and every one of you. 

Just know that through her lifetime Katie did more to help this world than any other I have ever seen. We should all take something from that and live out her legacy. Pick up as much trash as we can off the streets, donate and spend our time helping as much as we can.

Katie and my daughter Nina met in high school, and became fast friends.  She would come to the house a lot and always had a smile and kind words. I would often put an assortment of dishes out for the girls when they were hungry, and Katie would always just want the fruit salad.  I swear she could eat the entire serving dish of it.  I knew when Katie was coming, I wanted to serve fruit salad, because that was her favorite.   I nicknamed her "fruit salad", and whenever I saw her out, she would chuckle when I called her that.  She was absolutely beautiful inside and out. I enjoyed being in her presence, and knew a good time was to be had.  R.I.P. Katie,  and my condolences to the entire Kline family on your loss. xo

Katie and I attended middle school together and became pals instantly she would come over we would laugh together until we cried. We didn’t reconnect again until high school and it felt like time hadn’t passed at all. No matter what mood you were in Katie could make you smile in a second. My mom had passed in May 2019 and Katie was always messaging me to make sure my family and I were okay and there was anything she could do. Even though we did not hang out as much as we promised each other we would I still consider her a good friend to me as I’m sure she would say the same. She was such a sweet and kind soul. I cannot wrap my head around any of this as I’m sure no one can. My prayers, love and condolences go to the family 

Katie was so loved and loved everyone around her ten times more. There will never be another person to compare to her and her loving ways. 

From the first day she joined the Lib's Grill of Perry Hall staff you could tell that there was something special about her. The self-assuredness; the confident Cheshire cat grin; her cheerful delivery and bright, welcoming eyes that glowed like shiny diamonds.

It didn’t take long to feel like I had known her my entire life.

As days became weeks, weeks turned into months and months years, Katie felt like family. She had a spunk about her – a bit sassy really, but her brand of sass was inviting. I remember a few days when things weren’t quite so hectic in the restaurant, Katie would use the slow time to have a little chat. She would lean down with her elbows on the table or on the bar, look you in the eye in a way that suggested she cared about what I said, what I thought.

And she did.

During one of my visits to Lib’s Grill, as I walked in, a Caps game was on and the action on the ice caught my attention. Within moments of my arrival, unbeknownst to me, Katie stood next to me waiting to see if I had noticed. There was a break in the game and only then did I feel a presence beside me. I looked at her, leaning at the bar beside me with a short straw in her mouth, Cheshire cat grin and those glowing eyes.

“What can I start you with today Tony, a Stoli-O crush?”

How could I refuse?

Since it opened, I’ve been a regular at Lib’s Grill. Most of the employees know that I live 171 steps away. They’ve become like extended family to me – it’s the Liberatore’s way. But this one, Katie, like her beautiful sister Noel, opened her heart, and in mine is where she will always stay.

Shine on Katie diamond. You are gone far, far too soon. I will really, really miss you.

Am so sorry to hear of the family's loss. I played soccer many years ago with Noel Klein and am a Mt Carmel High alumni and previously a St Ursula Parishioner. I remember your family. Please know I am praying for all of you on this devastating loss.

When we were kids, Katie and I used to play soccer together. She was always a blast to be around and there was never a minute that went by where we weren’t laughing. 

Katie was the first friend Allison made as a new student at Saint Ursula , for that alone she was special to me . I'm so sorry for your loss Tina, Tish , Noel, Roy and Luke . She was beautiful inside and out . Anytime I saw Katie she talked about you all with a smile . She will never be forgotten and you all will be in my prayers !
