

Kitty is survived by her devoted husband of 73 years, John Loverde. She was the cherished mother of Christine Czaplinski (Glenn), Tony Loverde (Denise), Michael Loverde (Laurie), and Michele Kimery (Randy). She was the beloved grandmother of seven: Donovan Czaplinski, Dawn Loverde, Dr. Nicole Loverde, Kristin Caprarola, Catherine Loverde, Randy Kimery Jr., and Joshua Kimery, and a proud great-grandmother to fifteen: Alexis and Colby Czaplinski, Tess, Tenny, Camilla, and Isla, Jade Napora, Steven Greathouse, Valentina, Luca, Georgio, Eva Caprarola, and Dominic, Vincent, and her newest great-grandson, baby boy Kimery.
Kitty was born as the 12th of 16 children to Conrad Julius and Anna Mary Tellojohann Linz. She was preceded in death by her parents and eleven siblings: Anna Mary Romagna, Agnes Lillian Linz, Marian Celeste Walatka, Sr., Clara Dolores Linz, Conrad Innocent Linz, Paul Walter Linz, John Gerard Linz, Charles Andrew Linz, Dolores Julia Stotler, Joseph Frederick Linz, Janet Myles Mack, and her beloved son, Tony Anthony Loverde. She is survived by three sisters: Helen Margaret Slaughter, Joan Marie Hughes, and Jane Myles Phillips, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A devout Christian, Kitty was passionate about sharing her faith and love for Jesus with others. She was a talented poet, penning hundreds of poems that reflected her love for her family and her unwavering faith. Kitty also found great joy in gardening, thrift store shopping for hidden treasures, preparing delicious meals, and hosting countless family gatherings. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Road, Nottingham, MD on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Church, 1102 Hart Road, Towson, MD on, Friday, May 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Avenue, New Freedom, PA. A luncheon will be held at American Legion Post 455, 19222 Barrens Road South, Stewartstown, PA, following the burial.
