Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Parsley

Kathy was born on May 4, 1954, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Arthur and Vera Korzie. She was the youngest of two children. Her brother David preceded her in death. Kathy was educated at Our Lady of Hope Elementary School, Patapsco High School and Essex Community College.

Kathy married David Parsley on May 19, 1989, and has three sons David, Steven and Craig. Kathy has three daughter in laws Kimberly, Missy and Jen, nine grandchildren Brittany, Karyna, Johnathan, Arianna, Langdon, Claire, Collin, Jo Jo and Maggie and one great grand Child Evelyn Grace.

Kathy worked as a Claims Adjuster and retired in May 2016. Kathy loves family and hosts many big family gatherings particularly on Easter and Christmas. Kathy is admired by many due to her warm heart and affection for others. She was the one who greeted everyone with a strong warm hug and made them feel welcomed.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kathleen’s name to the American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org, or American Heart Association, at www.heart.org
