Loretta Elizabeth (Koch) Knapp, age 82, of Nottingham, Maryland passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. She was predeceased by parents Elizabeth and Frederick Vernon Koch. Beloved wife of 58 years of W. Roland Knapp; devoted mother of Rody Knapp (Lori), Jeff Knapp (Laura), Jaime Lutz (Brian); loving grandmother of Colin, Maggie, Brandon, Josh, Emily, Ava, Lilly, Audrey, Blair, Jenna, Alexa, and Presley; great grandmother of Ryan; dear sister of Verna Pond (late husband Doug), Elizabeth Morgereth (Jim), Theresa Varipatis (Stephen) and Fred Koch (Mary); Sister in law of Evelyn Weicker and Deborah Koch. Also survived by a daughter-in-law Deidre Lynch, many nieces, nephews, extended family, lifelong friend Elizabeth (Cookie) Ayd, as well as all of her “Biddies” and numerous friends.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 10 Willow Avenue Baltimore, MD 21206 on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 10:30am.
