On August 21, 2022, Nicholas Stratton, age 96, of Nottingham, MD, passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Alice Stratton (nee Lentz); devoted father of John Matthew Stratton and Suzanne Ruth Stratton; dear brother of the late John Strelka; loving brother-in-law of Olga “Viv” Strelka; cherished uncle of Michael Strelka and his wife Anna, and Thomas Strelka.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 5-7 PM. A Funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 9:30 AM, at the St. Andrew Orthodox Church, 2028 E. Lombard St., Baltimore, MD 21231. Interment will follow at the St. Andrew Cemetery (Dundalk, MD). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nicholas’ name to the St. Andrew Orthodox Church, or to Gilchrist Hospice at 11311 McCormick RD, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
