My wife Mary and I are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Norita.  She was such a lovely lady.  I remember spending a few Christmas holidays at her home with her and her family.  She always made me feel so welcomed.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Annette, Larry, Stephanie and Samantha.

I have so many fond memories of mom mom. She was always a very giving person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone.  Knowing her for the last 40 years as the mom of my best friend Annette, mom mom always had a way to make you laugh. She truly made lemonade from lemons. She was always looking for the best deal!  She loved people and being around people and ALWAYS had the sweetest disposition. I will always remember and treasure her smile and her laugh.  You will be so dearly missed mom mom. Our family is sending a heartfelt condolences to you and your family. We've been your neighbor for less than 5 years, but it seems like we've been neighbors all our lives. Your warm reception and kindness towards us is unexplainable. When the chips are down you are always there for us. We wouldn't have wished for a better neighbor. What can a son-in-law say........I could have never dreamed that I would be gifted with such a wonderful and pleasant mother-in-law as Mom was and always will be in my memories. Norita was the widow of my husband's cousin, Tony.  We used to enjoy dining out with Norita and Tony - especially at Red Lobster Restaurant.  Norita always had a smile on her face and was a "glass is half full" kind of person.  We are so impressed with the great job she did raising her daughter, Annette.  You couldn't have asked for a more devoted child.   We were glad to have had the opportunity to speak to Norita recently.  She will leave a bare space in the hearts of her loved ones.  

The memories! I remember you playing Barbies with me, Sam, and Sophia down at the condo. I remember you letting Sam and I tape ketchup packets and straws on your arms when we played doctor and you needed an "IV". I remember digging for cigarette butts in the sand outside of the Purple Moose at the beach...and mommy yelling at us. I remember playing keno with you and Poppy for HOURS  at the mall. I remember us sneaking in subway sandwiches into the $3 movie theatre after middle school. I remember you pounding away the food at Red Lobster....reminding me to ask the waiter for another round of your bottomless shrimp scampi. You are the best mom-mom and I am so blessed to have endless memories of us. You passed just how you wanted with Englebert in your ear at home with mommy right there holding your hand. I know that you were welcomed into Heaven. Poppy, Grandmom Joanie, Aunt Rita, Uncle Charles, Christopher, Aunt Alice and Uncle Slim, and Katie were all waiting on you. You will be missed because you were always such a sweet , loving presence in our lives, but you're in good company watching over us. Love you forever and always mom-mom ❤️

Without a doubt one of the most beloved MomMom’s I have grown to love.  This tiny lady was unique during her last years.  She knew how to relax and watch her favorites on TV, always with a blanket on, loved singing her Englebert Humperdink songs, and thoroughly enjoyed eating her crabs with a beer.
She knew how to make you laugh by coming back with a comment to anything she felt deserved one, and somehow learned to get her way.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, and  grandmother.  She even enjoyed the family dogs.
Bob and I have enjoyed MomMom more than anyone can imagine.  She will be missed.   She will have a lot of familiar faces waiting for her, especially, her husband, Tony,  and They can hug and kiss to their hearts content.  It will be Grand time!  Love, Always, Connie and Bob

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have grandparents in their life; I was blessed to have a Mom Mom that was there everyday for 10 years to watch me grow, help me learn, and teach me that when leaving the house you "gotta put on a little lipstick." Mom Mom was the sweetness to our home; everyday when I walked in the door from taking my graduate classes her head would pop from the couch and say "well hi honey!" Hearing that sweet voice welcome me home was enough to take the stresses away and greet her back with "well hi Mom Mom! Are you hungry?" as we all know Mom Mom could eat.  To my crabcake loving, shrimp salad eating, cutest sweetest grandmother, your physical presence and sweet voice will be missed. But everyday I will think of you and call on you for strength and guidance in my tough times. Give Pop and Katie a hug for me, and I pray that you watch over us in heaven just as you have watched over us in life.
