To the Barrett Family - I am so sorry for your loss. I met Rick about 18 years ago when my daughter played on Rick's soccer team. What a nice and friendly man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.

Deepest sympathy to the family, I haven't seen Rick in many years but he was always a great person.

I was so saddened to hear about Rick's passing.  I had the privilege of getting to know Rick and Peggy over the past few years during an annual company event.  Rick was my dance partner on many occasions and his zest for life was contagious.   He will be missed!  My thoughts and prayers go out to Peggy and the entire family.

Mr. Rick always had a smile on his face and something hilarious to say. When Matt and I were kids, he would invite our soccer team and parents over for cookouts by the pool and we'd celebrate and have a blast no matter what our win/loss record was. He'd let Matt and I order food and stay up all night playing video games, as long as we'd cut the grass and rake leaves the following morning. As we got older, the annual parties/events were always a blast. Rick knew how to have a great time and enjoyed hosting others- everyone was welcome. I know he is in heaven right now as the life of the party and singing on stage with the band, as he did at his 60th birthday party. Mr. Rick- thank you for all the great times. You will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know you.

Dear Barrett Family,

As everyone, I was stunned to hear of Ricks passing. Even though it has been a while since we've seen each other, actually the last time was at Uncle Fred's funeral, the love for our familes is always there. We spent time together talking about what was going on in our lives and of course the good old days!
Rick was so proud of his children and the look on his face when he spoke of his grandchildren!
I know his memory will never die because he will live through each and everyone of you.

Rick lived life to the fullest, family and friends meant the world to him. I was proud to be one of his friends. May he rest in peace.
