Ruth Ann Betz (nee Swank), age 92, of Nottingham, MD, passed away on March 22, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter A. Betz; devoted mother of Patricia Ann Mugrage and her husband Howard, and the late Deborah Jean Nicklas; loving grandmother of Sean Michael Mugrage and his wife Jane and Lauren Schafer and her husband Michael; cherished great-grandmother of Olivia Mugrage and Josie Mugrage; dear sister of Paul Robert Swank, the late Martin Douglas Swank, Sr., Henry Reed Swank, Russell Leroy Swank, John David Swank, Sr., and Clarence Roland Swank.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11 A.M., at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, 3911 Sweet Air RD, Phoenix, MD 21131. In lieu of flowers, Ruth’s family would like you to please send flowers to your loved ones in her memory.
