On April 12, 2017 Sherman Alden Higgs, Jr.; beloved husband of Gloria Mennit Higgs; devoted father of Mark Higgs and wife Sallie, Jamie Campbell and husband Gary; step dad of John Cimino, Jr., Jeannine Moriconi and husband James, Matthew Cimino and wife Karen and Mary Ann Evans and husband Matthew; dear brother of Charles and Nancy; loving grandfather of Bridget, Tara and husband Kerry, Erica and husband Joe, Mark, Jr. and wife Alisha, Nicholas, John III, Elizabeth, Samantha, Brianna, Rebecca, Jimmy, Janie, Lily, Jessica, Grace, Brooke, and Gabrielle; great grandfather of Xavier and Klaus; he is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

There will also be a visitation held at Oak Crest Chapel on Wednesday from 9:30 am - 10:00 am where a funeral mass will be held at 10 am. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
