Wesley Roland West

Wesley Roland West, age 93, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023. Wesley was preceded by his parents Robert and Caroline West; and siblings Eileen Young, Clarence West and Robert West, Jr.. He is survived by his nieces and nephews Robert West and his wife Betsy, Sharon Garreau, Steven West and his wife Phoebe, Jim West and his wife Vicky, Alice Lafferty and her husband Steve, Rusty, Randy and Terry West and great nieces and nephews. Also survived by his extended family his cousin Bill Knoedler, Dave and Sharon Easter and their sons Chuck and Tony and their families, and Vicky and Larry Lewis and their families, and his four legged friend Scout.

Wesley enjoyed spending time with his family, extended family and friends. He loved the race tracks and the horses. His younger years consisted of his duties in the Coast Guard. He also was a graduate University of Maryland with his BA. Wesley also played football for a few leagues to include the Coard Guard, University of Maryland and University of Georgia.

A visitation for Wesley will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236 on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Rd., Baltimore, MD 21206.
