On January 11, 2019 Wilhelmina McCoy depart this life leaving her beloved husband Rueben McCoy, her beloved daughter Vanessa McCoy and her dear brothers Richard and Charles Thomas, and the late James and Bernard Thomas, 3 nieces Lise Thomas (Nikki), Lori J. Thomas and Emily Thomas, 1 great nephew Maxwell Thomas Randazzo, 2 sisters-in-law Alethea Thomas and Ora McCoy.

Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 4-7pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joy Baptist Church, 4389 Greenway Rd., Gladstone VA. Interment will be on Saturday, January 19, 2019, in the Wright Family Cemetery in Lynchburg, VA.
