On July 4, 2023, William Earl Gill Jr., age 75 of Perry Hall, MD, passed away. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. Gill (nee Finneran); devoted father of Dawn Gill, Nicholas P. Gill his wife Joie, Michael W. Gill his partner Liana; cherished grandfather of Cheyenne Wilson; caring big brother to dear siblings Tim Gill, Denise Gill, Steve Gill, Deanna Allgaier; loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Will proudly served for four years in the United States Air Force. He worked 36 years for the federal government and retired in 2008. Will was an avid golfer and enjoyed photography. He was truly a family man and relished spending time with family and friends. Will and Pat were married for 44 years and made many memories traveling together. He will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at St Stephen Catholic Church, 8030 Bradshaw Rd, Kingsville, MD 21087, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in William’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105, or at www.stjude.org.
