William A. “Bill” Wood was called home on March 7, 2021. He is the beloved husband of Loretta Kiser Wood; loving father of Tina Marie Schofield and her husband Russell; cherished grandfather of Emily Grace Wyatt and Elizabeth Marie Vass and her husband Taylor; devoted great-grandfather of Riley James Matthews, Grayson Leroy Matthews, and Caileigh Isabella Marie Wyatt; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Wednesday from 5-7 PM. All are invited to the graveside service on Thursday at 1:00 PM at Parkwood Cemetery. Please gather at Schimunek Funeral Home on Thursday at 12:00 PM to participate in the funeral procession. Dress casually for the weather and outdoor service. In lieu of flowers and mass cards, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society or to Seasons Hospice Foundation, Donation Processing Center, 8537 Solution Center, Chicago, IL 60677.
