It is with profound sadness that the family of William S. Ziegler announce the passing of their beloved husband, devoted father and grandfather on December 9, 2021. William, 87, will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 62 years, Rosalie; children Christine Hightower and husband Scott, Daniel Ziegler and wife Terry, and the late Donna Ziegler; loving grandfather of Catherine and Scott Hightower.
A resident of Perry Hall, MD, William had proudly served in the US Navy, Patrol Squadron VP-42, and was retired as a Bethlehem Steel Sparrows Point Police Officer and as a Special Police Officer at Martin Marietta.
