Lori Lynn Dutch

July 11, 1964, to her parents Fred Joseph and Joanne Marie Dutch. She was raised in Novato and attended Loma Verde Elementary and San Jose Jr. High schools. She graduated high school from San Domenico in 1982.

Lori moved to Hawaii in 1994, and there she attended the University of Hawaii where she earned a Bachelor of Art degree in art. Lori had a passion for art and was a gifted artist herself. After graduating she taught the sixth grade at Waolani Judd Nazarene School. Lori really enjoyed teaching and loved celebrating the creativity in each of her students.

She loved the fresh air of Hawaii and enjoyed taking her dogs Luna and Lucy for a walk on the beach. Lori had a great sense for fashion, really enjoyed dressing-up and could turn a piece of material into a knock-out outfit in a few hours. Lori was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her friends.

Lori is survived by her mother, Joanne Marie Wales; sisters, Julie Brady, Linda Hickey and brother-in-law, Doug Hickey; niece, Jacqueline Brady and nephew, Jason Hickey.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred J. Dutch, in 1979, and her step-father David C. Wales in 2013.
