

Craig Fenwick, 57, passed away at his home in Oak Harbor January 2, 2012 after an extended illness. He was born at Naval Hospital Whidbey in Oak Harbor July 5, 1954 to Donald and Estella Fenwick. As a Navy child he traveled with his family from duty station to duty station, settling back in Oak Harbor when he was in the 6th grade.
During his working career he was in the construction trade operating heavy equipment with Trask Construction. He retired 20 years ago after an injury on the job site. He then enjoyed is time fishing, crabbing, hunting, camping, and working on his beloved VW Bugs.
In 1981 Craig married Karen Trask. They spent their life together in Oak Harbor and had two children, Donald James (DJ) and LeAnn Jeanette. He was a very loving husband and father. He was also very dedicated to his friends. He was one people could count on.
Craig is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Estella Fenwick; son Donald (DJ) Fenwick; sister in-law Susan Trask Boyle, and brother in-law Peter Boyle.
Craig is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen of Oak Harbor; daughter LeAnn Fenwick of Oak Harbor; brothers Don Fenwick of Oak Harbor and Ken Fenwick (Tara) of Plano, Texas, father and mother in-law Jim Trask (Jeanette), brother in-law Mike Trask (Candy) of Mt. Home, Idaho; nephews Tyler Fenwick of Everett, Morgan Fenwick of Lynnwood, Chris Noah of Phoenix, Arizona, and Joe Trask of Oak Harbor; and many other family members and friends.
