It is with great sadness that the family of Albert Michel Balesh, 66, of Fort Stockton, TX, announce his passing on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He was born in Chicago, IL, on January 19, 1952. Albert graduated from Fenwick High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science from Loyola University in Chicago, his Primary medical education & degree (M.D.) at Univ. of Rome (Italy) School of Medicine and his Physician Assistant degree (Baylor College of Medicine – Houston, TX). Albert took pride in working as a Physician at the Pecos County Memorial Hospital and in his spare time was a published Author. Albert had many hobbies and interests, ranging from cinema, travel to reading, writing, and the study of cultural superstitions. He wrote three books of poetry, a book of medical essays, monthly medical columns for a local newspaper and a medical website.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chiffie Balesh, and will be lovingly remembered by his mother Samira Balesh, and by his brothers and sisters Edward, Louise Kilzer (Larry), Carol Kaissi (Assem), Robert, Philip, and Rena. Albert will also be forever remembered by his nieces Carina, Monica, Chelsea & Hana as well as his longtime friend, Chacha Molinar.
