She married the love of her life, George Barnum, Sr. on January 23, 1960. They shared 50 wonderful years prior to his passing. They raised 3 children. She lived in Chicago, Il until her retirement and then moved to Henderson, Nevada to be close to her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband; George; son-in-law, David Balster and daughter-in-law, Mary Barnum. Carol is survived by her children; Susan Balster, George Barnum, Jr., Kathy Barnum, grandchildren: Kathy Balster and George Balster and many friends and relatives.
