Francisco Javier Gutierrez

Francisco Javier Gutierrez, age 75, of Bridgeview, IL, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025. Born on January 29, 1950, in Monterrey, Mexico, he was the son of Raymundo Gutierrez Garcia and Maria Cruz Rodriguez.

Francisco’s life was defined not only by his role as a dedicated school bus driver but by his loving devotion to his family and friends. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and father figure to many. Francisco’s warm heart, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering kindness were felt by everyone around him. His attention to detail and his pride in keeping everything around him spotless were part of what made him so special.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Francisco was especially passionate about baseball. For many years, he managed a local baseball league, forging lasting connections with players and families alike. His love for the game was matched only by the joy he took in mentoring others and helping those around him grow. His signature scent and welcoming smile will be cherished memories for all who knew him.

Francisco is survived by his devoted wife, Benita; his children, Javier, Victor, Daniel, Erick, and Jennifer; seven grandchildren; and many cherished siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

A visitation to celebrate Francisco’s life will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.
