Gloria “Luzy” Schleicher, a lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on April 16, 1950, and lived a life rooted in love for her family and those around her.
Gloria is survived by her children, Stacey (Dennis) Felthouse, and Tracey Schleicher; grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Matthew, and Jessica, and great-grandchildren, Arianna and Baby Viner 2026; and her siblings, Ann Potts, and Joan (Ron) Schleicher, who will forever cherish her warmth, strength, and the memories they shared with her. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jessie Mae Lawson and her husband, John Schleicher whom she now joins in eternal rest.
Gloria will be fondly missed by the many family members, friends, and loved ones who had the privilege of knowing her. Her presence, kindness, and enduring spirit will live on in the hearts of all who remember her.
