So sorry to learn of Jason's passing.  I interacted with Jason on a professional level.  During most of my tenure as the Risk Manager for Rockwell Collins, Jason was the insurance underwriter for my Rockwell Collins' casualty insurance program.  I have many fond memories of sharing dinner and conversation with Jason and other members of his AIG team.  I looked forward to our annual get-togethers.  It was always one of the highlights of the year.  He was enjoyable to talk to and fair and reasonable in his thoughts and opinions.  He represented AIG well.  He will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear the news about Jason. I always enjoyed his sense of humor at our family gatherings, he almost always was saying something that made me laugh. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. He was fortunate to be part of a loving and accepting family. Prayers go out to all of you at this most difficult time.

The news of Jason’s passing breaks my heart.  At some point in our younger days we were each other’s only support in entering, learning and navigating through a life that was new to us.  I remember Jason’s love of everything Italian.  He was so fascinated with Italian dialects and loved studying their most nuanced differences.  His Italian accent came to him naturally.  He loved speaking it and was so proud of the way he sounded.  I remember Jason pouring through countless lasagna recipes to come up with his own version, which to this day is the only lasagna I make.  Another Jason’s passion was decorating a Christmas tree and when I say passion, I mean it.  Christmas lights were especially important to him.  To my knowledge he never succumbed to the comfort of a pre-lit tree.  He would rather spend hours stringing his vintage Italian lights because they would produce the only satisfying him hue, a perfect mixture of brightens and warmth.   

Carol and Steve, and the Bruhn gang, I cannot even imagine how difficult it must be for you to say goodbye to Jason.  Hold on to every beautiful, joyful, and loving memory you have.  They bring so much comfort.  I love you all.  My thoughts are with you every step of this difficult healing.  Hugs!

So many memories made as our families traveled together so many times.  Jason hurrying over the bridge in Colorado and waiting at the other side for us is one we will never forget.  Or Jason falls as we renamed where he almost fell in.
