Keith Arthur Bailie

Keith Arthur Bailie, age 69, of Murphy, NC, formerly of Oak Lawn and Anchorage, AK, passed away at home on December 11 after a courageous battle with cancer. Keith is survived by daughter Kerin, sons Christopher and Ken, granddaughter Autumn Gilies, grandson Sean, brother Jim (Candace) and several cousins and nephews. Loving companion of Christine Fanelli. Preceded in death by beloved wife Yvonne, and parents George and June Bailie. Served as a Sargent in the United States Air Force, after which he enjoyed a lengthy career in the transportation industry. Keith was an expert model railroad builder who was recognized in several publications for his accomplishments. He was also a kind and caring man who was deeply loved by his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers the family resquests donations be made to the Organization for Autism Research, Arlington, Va.
